Michigan Opera Theatre audition for Candide by Leonard Bernstein
1/25 @ 5:00p

Michigan Opera Theatre is looking to cast the role of Voltaire in its upcoming production of CANDIDE.

Role available: VOLTAIRE
Voltaire is middle-aged (40’s-60’s), with a solid sense of himself and a wry smile playing about his lips always. There should be a gravitas to him that makes us all want to sit up and listen to him speak. An Actor with enough skill at being tongue-in-cheek that he can make us chuckle at even the most horrific tales he puts forth, but he is not slapstick, just a very good storyteller.

This is not a vocal audition.
